Charitable purpose

As it promotes charitable purposes and the advancement of public health the German Cleft Children’s Aid Society is, according to the notice of exemption by the tax office of Freiburg St.-Nr. 06469/47124 from October 10, 2010, exempt from corporate tax for the years 2007 to 2009 following §5 section 1 Nr. 9 of the German corporate tax law (Körperschaftssteuergesetz), and exempt from business tax following the German business tax law (Gewerbesteuergesetz) §3 Nr. 6. It is confirmed that donations are only used for the promotion of charitable purposes and to advance public health overseas.

In order to keep the administrative costs at a low level, donation receipts within Germany are usually sent out as a summary confirmation in January of the following year. If you should wish to receive the donation receipt at some other point in time, please contact us at info(at)spaltkinder.org.
