Helping as a specialist

Our physicians, surgeons and therapists from Germany and Switzerland run the training programmes with our partners in the project countries on a voluntary basis. By the conviction that only local trained specialists in the countries themselves will be able to ensure a long-term comprehensive and interdisciplinary treatment of the cleft children they bear the difficulties and sacrifice their free time in order to train their colleagues who are often enough thousands of kilometres away. At the same time our voluntary supporters help us in raising funds and donations so that we can finance the educational campaigns, the necessary materials and the surgery of the cleft children. They hold lectures about our activities, distribute informational material in their practices and motivate colleagues to get involved.
